Wrist/hand support/compression while playing?

Does anyone have any compression gloves or braces they wear while in net? I'm dealing with hand/wrist pain while playing (and in the morning after). I had an X-ray, no issues there, and am waiting on an EMG (scheduled for Sept). Just trying to see if anyone else has had similar issues and what they did for them.

Stick tape - am I doing something wrong?

I keep having to retape my stick like every two weeks due to (what I consider) fairly significant failures. I don't recall ever having to do this in the past with foam cores and I'm perplexed. The sticks in the pics have been used for maybe 10 hours of ice time with this tape. (4ish drop ins with a mix of beer to current ACHA DI guys)

I started using wax (sex wax, heat gun on low to melt it in), last few tape jobs were with Perani's tape, newest one (haven't used yet) is comp-o-stik. As a kid/teen I tried to get comp-o-stik or Renfrew as much as possible so I don't know if it's the brand difference or what. I run Super 88 electrical tape around the entire perimeter of the paddle/blade and add spots of it if I notice chipping. Yes, the total amount of tape is probably overkill at this point but I've always covered the toe and gone up the paddle so I'm not stopping now.

Any brands with better durability? Should I be using a different wax? I have a third stick I'm going to tape for summer league (14 games) and I'd like to not have to retape it if I don't have to.

New Mask Questions

So I've been rocking a Hackva 2608 in large since high school (whichever sticker has the cert date says 2011 on it). I bought a foam kit from Resilient and just installed it but it has me thinking I might like to put this one as a backup soon.

I have not yet done any research but figured y'all would have thoughts and advice for me so here I am.

I'm looking to spend $1000 USD or less.

Ideally a very similar fit to the Hackva.

Would like a bar cage, doesn't need to be certified though.

Would like new and black.

I've never considered a full/mostly custom before because I have no idea how much they cost. If that's an option in my price range, how does that work? I live in Michigan so a trip to Warwick isn't out of the question.
