mama i’m workin
work in the night as a petroleum fleet fueler in the states on the gulf of mexico by that muddy water. whole bunch of wasted days and wasted nights and i just don’t like this kind of living, cause i cast a lonesome shadow in the night when im workin. the sky’d become teardrops if i didn’t do somethin to change yo mind, so i write my favorite songs on my gloves while i work. just thought i’d share how i paint it blue on my daily midnight run, and even though im under hard luck & circumstances and im gettin tired again - i ain’t done losing yet. next time ill be twice as good, cheers y’all.

morning spots for night shift decompression?
hey folks, does anyone have any relaxed, mellow coffee shops or similar cafes that you like to go to that ALSO happen to serve beer in the mornings? i work night shift and get off around 6/7am, and would love to find a cafe with a bar setting and cheap beers i can have to chill after a shift.
i’m over by the gandy, and im fairly close to the blend coffee & cocktails on us-19, but that doesn’t really scratch the itch of sitting inside somewhere and having a casual beer or two; plus it’s expensive.
does anyone have any suggestions? would love to check out some new digs :)
