Hoyo gave me access to Robin and Aventurine. Here’s my take.
Hey guys, Hoyoverse has just graciously given me access to Aventurine and Robin. So, here I am to give 100% accurate, real and honest feedback on these characters whom many here are waiting for! 😊🤗
Real and honest thoughts:
The gameplay. Honestly, quite solid. Both are T0 tbh. Like I think there’s no way they’d be powercrept. Like the dmg, sustain, support, and like you know their paths. All these factors just align so well with the current direction HSR is heading. Like no HP inflation can stop these 2 powerhouses.
The design. Okay, I know that we’re all quite shaken (whether for good or bad) by how they look but I will say, design is such a subjective matter. I, personally, just enjoy certain aspects of the like combat animations. The gameplay loop where Aventurine does his move and Robin does hers. Like, no way there’s an alternative design for these two. I think in that aspect, we just have to appreciate the design. The splash art is also a 10/10 as usual.
The future + pull value. It’s pretty clear that these 2 characters are gonna stay in the meta for a really long time. Like, they brought old characters like Seele back to T0, literally performing 0 (not 2! weird visual bug) cycles. Like damn. Just, damn. I don’t think anyone’s a must pull, but I highly recommend them.
