Hi guys, I met a guy on Muzz around 4 months ago and we’ve basically been in a long distance situationship since then. From the start he introduced himself as “Rashed” not Frajus.

Recently though, I found out his father’s name is “Cheruvathur Chekkuty Thampi.” He’s South Indian, but those names don’t really sound Muslim to me, so now I’m confused and questioning everything.

I know people can have different cultural names, converts exist, family names can stay the same, etc. so I don’t want to sound ignorant. But at the same time, using a completely different first name feels weird to me, especially on a marriage app.

Would someone actually fake being Muslim on Muzz? Has anyone experienced something similar before?
