Looking for recommendations for a reasonably priced, compact UPS for a small home set up. Needs to handle 2 large mains powered G-Raids connected to a Macbook Pro, as well as a monitor, with enough battery to keep everything going for about 10 mins in the event of a power cut so it can all be safely shut down.
Building a very small home setup for remote work with a laptop and one external monitor, and for reasons related to the fixed build of my desk, I need to decide which way round my screens go. I prefer my timeline and Composer window/canvas etc to be on the right of the two screens, and bins and other panels on the left, so...
Should I use the Macbook Pro 16" screen as my main display on the right hand side, or my 24" ASUS ProArt PA248QFV, with the smaller Macbook screen for bins? Am torn between the extra screen real estate of the ASUS for timeline and viewer size, and the superior quality of the Macbook for colour accuracy.
I know the best way is to just try out both but interested in the thoughts of others.
Yes, I know, the S22 battery has always been a bit rubbish, but it was fine for my general use and got me to the end of the day... However after 4+ years it's performance has dropped dramatically, meaning I'm struggling to get to the early afternoon before it needs charging.
Is a battery replacement worth it? Would it be like new again? The rest of the phone is fine, performance is good, it never overheats etc. I'm just not sure if the hassle is worthwhile over just getting a new phone - the battery is my only issue but it's still pretty old.
Would it wipe the memory? Do I need to send it away or can they do it in store like apple do within a couple of hours? I'm in NW London so there are a few Samsung stores nearby.
