Decided to bite the bullet and try a 19 inch set of wheels for this summer. Couldn't decide between Style 225s or 230s, these won in the end.
The rims are a refurbished set. Not the most professional job, there's a bit too many sparkles mixed into the base paint so the wheels are shinier than their original color (I really like this actually) and the center bores were also painted for some reason - I had to scrape paint off because they didn't fit on the wheel hub flages, lol.
These compliment the car's body lines so well, even making me reconsider whether the M Sport conversion I plan on doing is really necessary. Maybe just the side skirts.
Fitment is perfect with 12mm spacers on all 4 corners (and Eibach ProKit springs). They fill out the arches just enough to pass as unmodified but look way better than stock. No rubbing at all at full lock and/or compression with OEM equivalent shocks.
The insanely thin 35/30 aspect sidewalls have barely any sidewall to flex, which makes the car feel really decisive and responsive, even when just daily driving the car. The ride however is anything but smooth, but it's not nearly as bad as I expected. It feels about the same as an 18 inch set inflated to the 4 passengers + luggage recommediation. These wheels are surprisingly light too, even just turning the steering wheel feels easier than on my set of Style 189s.
Very satisfied overall.
