If you had a low GPA in undergrad, were you still able to get into a grad program?

I'm curious to know what gpa did you graduate with your undergrad or more how were you able to be accepted into a program?

Were you able to get into because of who you know, know what you know?

If you had prior experiences do you think it helped with your application?

I ask because I'm a little worried that my GPA dropped due to one of my classes and although I'm taking a year off since I graduated undergrad I'm still determined to apply come this fall for the following cohort.

At the moment the only thing that's giving me hope that I will be able to get into a program is my internship with the district attorneys office (getting some experience). My supervisor said she's more than happy to write me a letter of recommendation but I plan on staying with them for next 6 months just so I can get my foot in the door for a county or government job.

I'm just worried and if I have to go back to retake this class, I think I might as bad as I don't want to.

Thanks in advance

I'm graduating with my bachelor's real soon and I'm thinking of doing a trip....solo. I also just got out of a really crappy relationship and want to just find myself again. I'm in between doing this solo trip for this graduation celebration but I'm also leaning towards taking a solo trip for my 35th birthday in August!

I'm at that point of my life where I'm not waiting on anyone to do a damn thing. I do occasionally invite people but if they can't make it I still go on and do whatever activity I was planning to do anyways. I've gone to concerts alone and just share my location with family and friends. I was scared at first but I felt like it gave me so much confidence and trust in myself. I was always one to second guess myself but after those solo concerts I felt more confident and comfortable with myself...well with somethings at least.

I'm also getting my passport and as much as I would love to travel the country alone I think that's a huge step for me and i don't feel as confident about that yet. I plan to maybe do mini weekend trips here in the states or go to other cities in my state.

I live in California but I would really want to travel to Chicago, Texas, even Oregon in the fall and New York.
I just really want to experience life and travel, meet new people, try new foods, things like that even if it's just another state. I think one thing that kinda scares me also is the planning but I know I would have to do a lot of research on that especially if it's another country.

If you went on a solo trip how was the process?did you book it all yourself or did you go through an agency?

How did you feel during and after your first solo trip?

If you meet new people on your trip did you keep in contact?

What foods did you eat and enjoy? Did you ever get sick?

I would like to know your experience.

Thanks in advance!
