AVOID Canna-Cali Cannabis store! Selling synthetic weed/spice
My husband and I were visiting from Canada and came across this weed shop. In Canada, weed is legal and we smoke regularly. We noticed this place had several customers in and out, so we decided to purchase a joint. The dark-haired girl working told me that the weed was THC. Looked and smelled like weed. When we got back to our airbnb, we took 1-2 small puffs, and within minutes my husband was in and out of consciousness, vomiting profusely, not responding, and seizing. I called an ambulance and we were rushed to the hospital. I was advised that since weed is illegal in Portugal, we were likely given something synthetic. After doing our research and reading reviews (which we should have beforehand) we determined we were given “spice” or K2, which can be lethal. Do your research and stay away from this place. I know we’re dumb for trusting but I also know we’re not the only ones this has happened to.
