Hello all, I've been a long time blizzard games fan (espcially starcraft) and it has always been my dream to attend BlizzCon. It's been hard to do so because I'm from outside of US but I finally got the chance to attend this year! So I'm very looking forward to it.

I want to make sure that I get the most out of blizzcon and also am well prepared for it. BlizzCon veterans, what are your tips and tricks? All I have done so far is linking my pass to my battlenet account.

Some things I'd like to know about how the veterans do it:

• What do you bring in your bag?
• Is there a low-key but must see exhibits?
• What do you suggest wearing?
• What is the best way to connect with people at the conference?
• ... or any other tips & tricks!

I'm curious to know the rank distribution because I feel like anyone can rise to master 5 with enough play time. So I would expect heavy skew towards the high ranks by the end of the season.

I see a lot of people looking down on people with less than 1KD. When they see one in their squad, they automatically think they are “dead weight”.

But you see, this game is alive because of them. Having less than 1KD means you are getting screwed more than half of the time, and honestly that is a shitty game experience. Yet, they choose to stay and play the game for passion. They are the ones who are truly enjoying the game. The real gamers.

So to all my <1KD players out there, I send you my sincere respect. Peace.

And don’t mind the high kd players looking down on you. They do that because they got nothing else going on their life and kd stats in a fictional game world is the only thing they can show.
