Fetterman dares Platner to release messages with mystery women, says he'll 'wear a suit every day' in return

Fetterman breaks with Democrats over Platner controversy, demands release of messages.

Fetterman ramped up his criticism towards Platner for his past problematic remarks by stating,"This is a guy that had a problem with me, how I dress, but he seemed to have no problem posing in a towel at a disgusting website that consistently had serious problems about that kinds of depravity. Let me make a deal. I'll tell P-Hustle, I'll wear a suit every day, if he releases all those texts and messages that he's had... [with] the dozen women," he continued, referencing Platner's username on the platform.

He further went on to ask him to prove what's in these past sexually explicit conversations and even questioned how old the participants were that Platner was engaging with.

Platner's campaign did discuss his old kik account on the platform back in 2016. He admitted that he didn't deactivate the account but instead just deleted the app off his cellphone. Platner has many notable controversies that have been under public scrutiny that also included accusing Navy Seal Chris Kyle of inflating his stats, a Nazi tattoo, and past contentious comments on his Reddit account that drew backlash.

Fetterman finished his statement by saying, "As a Democrat, I'm never going to carry water for a guy that calls an American hero a d**b MFer, or someone that smears Chris Kyle... and claimed that he's shooting innocent civilians. You've literally lost count...It's countless. It absolutely is"

Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker to suspend tax breaks offered to data centers

Pritzker, who is widely viewed as having 2028 White House aspirations, is tapping into an issue seen as important to voters

Pritzker is temporarily halting tax break incentives to data centers until lawmakers can come to a reasonable agreement on their framework going forward.

Pritzker stated, “Illinois has an opportunity to continue leading in technological innovation and economic growth, but we also have a responsibility to protect working families and local communities as the data center industry rapidly expands. I am directing my administration to pause the processing of data center agreements while we continue working with the General Assembly and stakeholders on a comprehensive framework that protects affordability, safeguards our natural resources, and ensures responsible growth across Illinois.”

Pritzker has raised concerns that data centers are being constructed without fully taking into account the impact they are having on utility bills and water consumption for the communities they are built in. He has called for the state to create guardrails to protect consumers.

Personal commentary: W for Pritzker and it's smart that he is addressing this. NBC conducted a poll showing that a majority of registered voters, 57%, said they believe the risks of AI outweigh its benefits, compared with 34% who said the opposite. Just 26% of voters said they have positive feelings about AI, compared with 46% who hold negative views. This is a great bipartisan issue for the left to take on and gain voters.

Both parties target Trump's $2B fund as ICE funding package enters danger zone

Senators from both parties want to eliminate the anti-weaponization fund as vote-a-rama kicks off

President Trump's DOJ anti weaponization fund is a rare instance where both parties are against such actions. To kill the fund amendments are being submitted. This also puts the border bill at risk. Senate Republicans are remaining hopeful that they can stop amendments through vote a rama but that remains uncertain.

"I feel good going into it, But, you know, you got a lot of conversations with our members [who] understand what's at stake, how critical it is that we defeat amendments that would be corrosive to the bill or undermine in any way its privilege. I mean, you never know with 100% accuracy. There are a lot of creative ways of drafting amendments, but we feel pretty confident that most of those would be at 60." If an amendment that focuses on ending the fund does pass it could remove reconciliation. That means the entire border bill package could be killed.

The controversial fund was proposed as part of the IRS settlement last month. It immediately received backlash from both parties. Republicans worried about the lack of parameters in place to prevent the attackers who assaulted the policemen at the capital from receiving taxpayers funds. The fracture began showing between senate Republicans most notably from both Thom Tillis and Bill Cassidy who are drafting up amendments of their own to stop the fund.

Cassidy hasn't shared exactly what his amendment will entail but he states that he wants "something which just makes it sure that somebody doesn't change their mind in the White House so it doesn't come back." Tillis also stated that there are enough Republicans with concerns about the fund that it needs to be addressed and stopped.

Personal commentary: I'm happy to see bipartisan agreement on totally killing this bullshit slop fund. I think this was a horrible idea from the start. It's a waste of taxpayer's funds and I agree with senate Republicans about the lack of oversight to who will be getting the money.

Jill Biden reignites the Democrats’ age argument by questioning if Joe Biden had a stroke during 2024 debate

https://www.cnn.com/2026/05/27/politics/jill-biden-joe-biden-debate-stroke

Behind closed doors, Dr. Jill Biden's concerns about her husband's mental and physical fitness were growing. She recently revealed in an interview that while watching President Biden's debate against Donald Trump, she feared he was having a stroke. "I don't know what happened," she said. "As I watched it, I thought, 'Oh, my God, he's having a stroke.' And it scared me to death."

This stands in stark contrast to what she conveyed publicly that same night. At a post-debate event, Jill Biden told her husband, "Joe, you did such a great job. You answered every question. You knew all the facts." No one in the Biden camp raised public alarm about the president's mental acuity or his deepening struggles until now.

Dr. Biden is finally breaking her silence and explaining that she felt compelled to support her husband publicly despite her private concerns. "I had to sort of lift him up. I'm his wife. I'm not going to get out on the stage there and say, 'Joe, you really screwed that up.' And we have all of our supporters there. That's who we are. I had to support him."

When asked about Vice President Harris's book where Harris described Biden continuing to run as reckless Dr. Biden responded, "That is her point of view, and if she felt that way, she should have said it."

Personal commentary:

With midterms coming in only 5 months I'm not sure why she decided to put the spotlight back on this controversial issue again. Either way it's concerning that those closest to him are only now admitting that he was not fit to run again.

The Texas Senate race: A rock and a hard place

Neutral summary: Paxton defeated Cornyn in the race here and is now the Republican nominee.

Personal commentary: I voted in the Republican primary for Cornyn. Now that Paxton is the nominee, I'm dreading this election. Since Paxton sucks and I don't have loyalty to any particular party I decided to review Talarico’s policies and boy oh boy he is a loon.

Paxton is very problematic in more ways than one and after reading up about him letting off that Waco attorney pedophile with a slap on the wrist, I don't want to support him. I understand that Paxton isn't running for the best moral character contest but objectively speaking dude is corrupt as hell. His SEC violations, the impeachment, etc. He's horrible bro.

On the other hand, I disagree with Talarico’s politics and I find his church boy act to be extremely cringe. Talarico's abolish ICE platform and all that other liberal coded bs isn't what I agree with. The one thing I did like was that he welcomed us Cornyn voters to his coalition but man he isn't moderate at all. What the hell have you people left me with and why are the choices so bad? I'm going to have to grit my teeth while voting again.

Massie lost

Neutral summary: Just saw the results of the election. Massie was voted out for not kissing the ring. He is a principled dude and it cost him.

Personal commentary: I respect Massie just like I respect Fetterman for not being afraid to go against the status quo for what's right. I was keen on voting for Rubio in 2028 if he ran but as time goes on it's becoming quite apparent that the Republican party will not get a reset after Trump. It will just be more of the same. I'm going to start heavily considering the Democratic ticket after seeing these results as long as the left doesn't primary a horrible candidate like Newsom. Beshear, Shapiro, or Kelly are on my radar.

Do you think the right will reset after Trump?
