Going back to Returnal after Saros is jarring

I love both games (Returnal was my GOTY) and Saros is my top game so far this year. But going back to Returnal it’s pretty wild how much slower it is than Saros.

I do miss this randomness of getting hit with a malfunction and having to do something like “kill XYX number of hostiles” or “kill XYZ hostile by melee” to remove the malfunction.

I like the comparison of Doom 2016 to Eternal.

The number of bullets comparatively from Returnal to Saros is laughable. Though I only played biome one so far in Returnal. Also, the weapons aren’t as far off as I thought they were.

Sacred Boys trying to justify using modifiers in Saros

Excited to see what the spoilercast is like for Saros. I was quite disappointed to hear about their ignorance on weapon choices. But to say modifiers was something the developers are forcing/wanting you to use and sounds like in the case Colin did (I maybe wrong). It’s a players choice if you think Saros is easy, do it without it then.

I hope they beat it first without modifiers and if you want to make it harder. Don’t start from the first biome.
