I'm trying to figure out what I need exactly to convert my hottub to salt after a clean and refill. Unfortunately my wife isn't doing so well with chlorine with her psoriasis. After research it seems I need these; Watkins Wellness 78503 FreshWater System Controller and FreshWater Salt Cartridge | Salt System Refill. Is there anything else I'm missing?
I have a 2025 Hotspring Grandee getting delivered next week and my dealer is telling me that the only way to use the mobile app controlling the hottub features(lights/jets/temp) is by using the freshwater iq system. A quick search says that isn't the case and I can install this connected spa kit. I'm hoping someone here can confirm that this will work without the saltwater system? If that's the case I'll just purchase this and install myself.
Would this be considered a good deal? We obtained this quote for a 2025 Grandee. We only started looking once they started their Memorial Day sale. The total was $19,400 with the addons lifter and steps and they included the ozonator. We could've spent an additional $1,000 for a 2026 model but would that make any sense it's just different filters at that point right? They also didn't push us on the saltwater system, instead they preferred we just did chlorine.
The device updated to firmware 2.52.86 before it's run today and it's been acting crazy. Has anybody else noticed this? It did the carpet fine but mopping not so much.
