Tern quick haul only has 1000km and it requires mayor fixes costing over 420€
I bought a quick haul in August 2025 for my daily commute and school run. In spring when I wanted to start using it again it already started making noises and the chain fell off several times. I took it to the local tern mechanic and they fixed it. However after a while the whole gear box locked up making the wheal fall off the body and making bike unusable. I took it to the mechanic and they said that I should get it to the people who sold it to get the warranty because it is imposible for it to be locking up so soon after I bought it. It has only 1k kilometres. The people who sold it have rejected the warranty and say it is my fault because water went in the gearbox. How is this possible? I have barely used it in the rain and I have not washed it except with a small hose to clear the mud. They said that shimano always rejects warrantees. Worst purchase I have made. Highly recommend not to buy these bikes. Here are some pictures of the brick and the picture the sellers have sent to say it was my fault. Is there anything I can do? Any recommendations will be amazing. Also think twice before buying these bikes
