What annoys you about your Tern?
I'm considering upgrading my cargo bike to a Tern, probably the HSD P5i. What are your little (or big) annoyances that you discovered as you lived with your bike?

°Anyone with experience with this model ..
Is it still in production ¿
I'm thinking about buying the Tern Vektron S10 but i'd need to carry up and down the stairs where i live.. about 20 steps. How easy is it to grab, lift and hold it over the stairs?
This buildup has proved capable for climbing fairly rotten dirt roads, with deep sand, rocks, etc. Ridden with care, of course, and no downhill bashing.
Changes from stock: front tire is a 2.35 (60mm) Schwalbe Tough Tom, SPD pedals, 11-36 10s freewheel, 10s chain, friction shifters on bar extenders. Large chainring was reduced from stock 52 to a 44 tooth. Rear rack is a Bontrager I had lying around, carries Ortlieb panniers nicely. Front mount is Tern's, which can foul the cable housing at times. Bike still folds normally, though magnets were replaced by a bungie. Thing at center of bars is just a homemade phone mount. On important thing I had to do later was to lower front derailleur, retighten cable, then add a peg between chainring and crank to keep chain from wrapping itself into a knot. Tough Tom knobby will soon be replaced by a faster 50mm Big Apple city tire.
i’m interested in getting the Abus Cafe lock for this bike, but don’t see a place where I can put it on the bike any ideas? Has anyone ever done this?
Abus Shield XPlus 5755L NR Frame Lock, Black – Tern Store USA

We only have one child. She’s currently 2 years old and around 12 kg. We’re planning to use the bike mainly for daycare drop-offs/pickups and grocery runs.
Which model would you recommend?
Thanks!
Hi - debating getting a Tern E bike but mildly struggling to figure out which is the smallest one? I just want to be able to fit a child seat on the back for my 2 year old, and potentially have the versatility to be used by my 5’4 wife and my 5’11 self. Any advice is welcome! Many thanks.
I am trying to decide if the Orox is the right bike for me. I live in a small rural town where the easiest way to work is on smooth, well maintained dirt trails that are meant for skiing and moutain biking. There is a paved bike trail to the grocery stores on the edge of town. I really want a bike with a belt drive because I have ADHD and am awful at regular maintenance. I want my bike to be able to haul some cargo and maybe bike to the local crag with my climbing stuff or swimming hole or whatever, although I doubt I'll ever be hauling anything near the payload of the Orox. And of course, the Rohloff and mid-drive Bosch motor are just unmatched. The high frame and difficulty of transporting it are pretty real cons for me as well.
I imagine there are probably quite a few electric mid-tails that can handle the trails i plan on doing and I get can them for way cheaper, albeit lower quality in a bunch of ways. But one other thing that, at least on paper, sets the Orox apart is the ability to have an adult passenger, which I absolutely love. I won't be hauling kids around, but the option of bringing another person into town or whatever is really appealing. I feel like I've run into the scenario multiple times where I want to go somewhere with a friend but they don't have their bike so we ended up driving. But, I've read that having a passenger with the Orox is actually really cumbersome and not a great experience. Is it worth the extra $ to get the Orox or should I find another solution?
Note: this won't be a total car replacement for me because of the lack of public transit for when I need to leave town
