Started the process around March 1 -- I probably delayed the process for nearly 4-6 weeks for being out of town - got my card immediately following my interview with the Chief of Police on July 30. That interview consisted of 2 questions: why CCW? and was I ready to face consequences should I need to use it?

During the investigation I was asked to open soical media aps on my phone - the investigating officer scrolled thru each less than a minute. They had also asked me why CCW. No psych eval for me. Two officers came to my house to confirm I lived there and interviewed my partner. I did submit 3 letters of personal recommendation.

All-in-all a pretty painless process. Others I talked to said their process took about 3 months total.
