Newbie with a question

Hi! I bought my Fujifilm XT30III yesterday and I’m trying to set up my camera. I found a recipe called “Bright Summer” but my camera won’t let me change the DR to DR400; it only goes up to DR100. Is there something I’m doing wrong?

Film Sim: Classic Chrome
DR: DR400
Grain: Off
Color Chrome: Strong
Color Chrome Blue: Off
WB: 7100K, -4 Red / -2 Blue
Highlight: -2
Shadow: -2
Color: +4
Sharpness: 0
Noise Reduction: -4
Clarity: -5
ISO: Up to 6400
Exposure Comp: +1 to +2

Help! Fuji x Half a good choice?

Hi everyone!

I'm someone who really enjoys photography, but I don't have any ambitions to become a professional photographer (I also have very little free time). I took a basic photography course at an academy, so I'm comfortable shooting in manual and understand the fundamentals.

What I'm looking for is a camera that I can easily slip into a pocket and take on trips or weekend outings. I really don't like wearing a camera around my neck. I also don't enjoy spending time editing photos, I want nice JPEGs straight out of the camera that I can print.

For the past year I've been looking at the Fujifilm X100VI, but the price… !! (at least for my use). Today I went to a camera store to look at it again, and right next to it was the Fuji X Half. It made me think that, at least in terms of portability, it could fit my needs just as well, and it's much more affordable.

Do you think it would make sense to start with the X Half, see if it matches the way I like to shoot, and maybe upgrade to the X100VI in a few years if I find myself wanting more? Is the image quality really that bad?

Thanks for any advice!

(For context: I know the X Half and the X100VI are very different cameras. My question is more about whether the X Half could be a good starting point for someone with my priorities rather than trying to compare their image quality.)
