so i guess our ground location is #1 in the state, and for that we get rewarded with stricter rules. i, as well as much of management has never seen so many write ups in their life created by upper management

i’ve been written 3 times in the last week

1. i clocked into the last van line ONE minute late
2. i clocked into the last van like FIVES minutes late
3. because i called into work yesterday (haven’t gone over my rolling 3)

BUT THEY HAVE ZERO ISSUE SENDING ME ALL OVER TO FILL IN AND KEEPING ME TILL THE VERY LAST MINUTE CONSTANTLY.

the wild thing is, i had zero clue i couldn’t call out of work when in orientation we were told we had 3 on a rolling 30 day)

so basically if i get one more bullshit write up, they will terminate me.

my van line manager told me only the sort was dealing with this, midnight shift and other shifts are a lot more relaxed lol as far as calling out or being a little late

are they even allowed to do this? lol

i really don’t see the big deal in GTA 6 being digital. in this day in age, most games you buy on disc are just a product key, in which your console requires internet to install said game.

i have gone out and bought very little physical titles, mostly for my switch, probably in the last 7 years.

my current pc build doesn’t even have a disc drive, and moving forward the entertainment industry will be purely digital only titles.

the more and more we see these 200gb games, the less you’re going to see physical releases, and you’ll never see them for small titles.

in the not to distant future everything will be all digital.

why is a physical disc so important to a lot of you? so you can look at it on your shelf? so you can sell it for $22 instead of $87 when you’re done? 😂

i guess sunday and monday are mandatory days?

if i were to “call out” tonight i wouldn’t get the same repercussions as the mandatory days right?

i just have a dental surgery early tomorrow and don’t necessarily want to go into it after working a 6 hour sort lol

what shoes are you wearing? i’m wearing vans slip ons and my feet get so sore by the end of sort lol i know it’s a shoe issue so i’m wondering what you guys recommend wearing at work
