Parking at steelhead Creek Beach Park on weekdays?
Does the parking lot fill up on weekdays? Driving up from berkeley, and want to avoid getting there and not being able to park.
Thank you!

I wanted to come up to the Russian river go kayaking for a few days, and was kind of surprised at how pricy the camping and accommodations are (I’m looking on Hipcamp), and some of the places don’t have two consecutive days.
I would love to stay on a farm!
Does anyone know of any farm stay type of situations? Or good camping suggestions, perhaps there’s something I’m missing.
I do have two little dogs-
(and if not a farm stay, farms that are open to visit)
thank you!

suggestions, please -
looking for recommendations of small rivers to go kayaking on within two hours of berkeley.
Ideally,
quiet water (i’m in a dinky fold up ORU kayak)
trees
water clean enough for swimming
(I have two little dogs and worry about toxic blue green algae.)
No motorboats
And if possible, a campsite or lodging not too far away.
It’s been a while since I’ve been to the Russian river, but the last I was there, there was a lot of algae and the water quality wasn’t good. Otherwise, I would go there.
