Hi, I am in a situation where I am planning to bring some pigeons home from Washington to rehome. The situation is that my dad, who lives in Washington, has been racing pigeons for over 40 years. Because of his health, he is slowly getting rid of them in ways that I don't agree with (releasing into the wild) so when I go up in July, I said I would take some with me.

I want to rehome them. These are domestic birds bred for racing. They can join a flock and live in the wild, but I don't think they live long as they have lived their entire life in a loft. That's why I'm taking some, to help them out.

Does anyone have advice? Is there a group that could help me? Is there anyone out there interested in keeping pigeons? I will have them at the end of July.

I am looking for some recommendations on BBQ friendly beaches & picnic areas right by a beach for a birthday celebration in early June.

I have already considered heart’s desire beach and limantour beach. We are located in Santa Rosa and are hoping for something closer, possibly in Bodega Bay.

We will have our own portable grill. Thank you!

I’m in SD and nobody can do anything without relying on some ai bullshit. The smart people in corporate use it , the artsy people at street fairs use it, popular local “musicians” use it at shows people pay for, the lonely people use it as therapy and try to pass off chatgpts advice as their own lived experience.

There seems to be no large group/genre of people that are truly repulsed by any and all usage of it. Not one business is completely devoid of it down here and I’m so exhausted.

I’ll be moving back soon and in my brain my hometown “knows better” but now I’m realizing it might be the same/worse.

How much have you noticed Santa Rosa/ Sonoma county embracing the AI epidemic?

What else have you seen majorly change in the last few years?

Can anyone reccomend a shop that can refabric outdoor cushions? We really like our outdoor furniture set but the cushions have faded and ripped and we are looking to replacing the fabric. The company we bought it from doesn't offer replacement cushions. Anyone know a place that still does this type of work?

My ladyfriend has expressed that she would like to get frisky at the beach. Neither of us are exhibitionist and "getting caught" is not any part of the allure. Does anybody know of any beach areas that are not super well traveled and that you can see/hear if people are approaching, allowing plenty of time to get decent?

I didn't manage to get a picture but we saw a bear on river road just now near Slusser and a cyclist warned us ahead of time so we could slow down. One bear got tragically hit by a car last year on river and I know a lot of people like to bike around West county so I thought I'd announce that 🧸

My niche is Strip paste and male hair removal maintenance.
