Adam Audio A7X speakers and Genelec surrounds for Dolby Atmos.

Big surprise today as FSD hit reverse at a red light!
I explain it in the video (w/audio), but as I was waiting to make a left turn, FSD saw that a city bus was struggling to make a turn and decided to back up to give the bus more room for the turn. It is interesting how early FSD was able to calculate this.

I was a bit shocked to feel my car backing up, and so was the guy right behind me! So I hit the brake pedal almost immediately and disabled FSD. The bus went on to make the turn coming very close to my car, but made it ok. I also noticed that my car was left in "reverse" after I hit the brake pedal, so I switched back to forward (drive).

I can see what FSD was trying to do. I'm just not sure it would have made a difference or how far back it was planning to go. It was a move I was not expecting and thought I'd share it for awareness. I have been using FSD daily for over a year and I like it very much.
For reference, I have a 2025 Model 3 Performance (HW4), FSD v14.3.4 (2026.14.6.12).
