DFAM into TR1000

Got the TR recently and I’m in love. These sounds are just from the DFAM and TR1000. Vocals are coming from SP404 MK2.

The combo is great and I’m just scratching the surface.

I’m recording via a 1010 Bluebox and then just uploading it in iMovie to add the visuals.

Maybe I’ll get into processing and effects soon.

[wts] mpc live 3. 1010 blackbox. [wttf] drum machine. PNW, usa.

I’m looking for an analog four mk 2 or Erica Synths Hexdrum/Perkons. Or another drum machine, possibly.

MPC live 3 is like new. I just don’t like the workflow. Comes with accessories and box. $1250 OBO

1010 black box is in good condition works as it should. $350.

Shipping from the PNW.

Back to elektron. Which direction?

I’ve been a synth rabbit hole for a few years.

I started with Elektron and have owned a Digitakt II, Digitone II, Syntakt, Tonverk, and briefly an Octatrack.

Then I sold a lot of it and tried other gear like the TR-8S, SP-404MKII, SH-4d, and a few others.

Right now I’m down to a Mother-32, Minitaur, and a Sequential Pro 3, and don’t think I’ll be selling these anytime soon.

I just jam at my house and experiment. dub techno, ambient, etc.

Lately I’ve realized I’m missing two things: a sampler for grabbing random YouTube clips, movie dialogue, vinyl, and the Elektron workflow.

So now I’m back looking at Elektron.

My question is: should I try out the Analog Rytm MKII and Analog Four MKII, or a Digitakt II and Digitone II?
Used prices are all pretty close these days, around $800–1,000 each, so cost isn’t really the deciding factor.

Any ideas or recommendations?

I’ve never touched the rytm or analog four….

Guess his weight.

My dad claims his Frenchie weighs 38 pounds, but after looking through this subreddit and comparing photos online, I can’t help but feel there’s no way that’s accurate. He looks quite a bit bigger than most Frenchies in that weight range. Am I crazy, or does he seem heavier than 38 pounds?

In driver’s ed and growing up, I was always taught to stay in the right lane unless you’re passing, and most of the country and world seems to follow that.

But Washington is the worst I’ve experienced. I’ve lived in multiple states, and something about crossing into WA, everyone just camps in the left lane going the speed limit.

Feels like a generational thing. Were you not taught this? Do you even notice this?
