Hi all,

Need a suggestion for a friend's family trip.

He's flying for the first time and with parents. They booked tickets to Singapore on IndiGo website

While booking, we entered names as per Aadhaar, where the surname is only an initial. Their passports have the full surname. First names are the same.

They're requesting a name correction thorugh support. Has anyone faced this before?

1. Did the airline correct it?
2. If they refuse, is it safe to travel with the initial on the ticket? Will there be boarding or immigration issue?
3. Cancelling and Re-Booking leads to spending twice the inital booking amount 🥲🥲🥲

Please suggest 🙏🏻
