Gecko has to stay in my room - How to help quality of life?

My room is very small, so my little buddys enclosure stays right next to my desk. I have a loft bed with curtains, so for my monitors I can just close the curtains so my lights dont bother him. But how loud can I be with him in my room? Of course I don't play competitive games very often so it's not like I yell, but I slightly raise my voice sometimes. He's my first reptile thats been FULLY my responsibility, and my first gecko; so I'm very worried about making sure he's comfortable and happy.

Beginner tips would also be nice, things that most people wouldnt expect, or things that google wouldnt warn about :)<3

How often to handle :)?

Hello! I'm new to owning geckos, I bought a baby crestie and a starter cage from Repticon, and I believe I have everything I need for now. I dont have anything to weigh it in, so I'm not sure how old it is. But its about the length of my pinky (Excluding the tail). How often do I handle them? I haven't seen alot of people agree, I hear they need to be handled often so theyre easier to hold when they grow, but other people say they should be handled less so I dont stress them out. What do you think?
