ACSL Soten vs Skydio X10
Good morning!
I am putting together a current list of NDAA drones geared toward mapping for compliance/environmental inspections. It appears that the ACSL Soten and Skydio x10 currently land at a similar price for the niche of "more portable DJI-comparable quads for smaller-area inspection." I have been leaning heavily toward the Soten for multiple reasons, including its interchangeable payloads, but it does have just about the lowest flight time of all reasonable NDAA options. I would like some arguments for or against choosing the SkyDio over the Soten, especially if any of ya'll have experience with either system.
To reiterate; this is specifically for the $15-20k NDAA-compliant price range. I do have the Wispr Skyscout and Freefly Astro in the "a bit more portable" category, but those are a different tier of price and capability.
Photographed slab is ~14 x 7 cm
Slabbing at ~7mm. I'm tempted to do some slightly thicker slabs just to save as specimines. I picked up a metasomatized mess!
