A couple of days ago, I made a deal with Lord Hermes: I promised him that if he helped me get my first graphics tablet, I would stay up all night to draw him a beautiful caduceus to hang on my bedroom door.
Last night, even though I didn’t know if it was actually going to happen, I decided to fulfill my promise first out of pure faith. I stayed up until 3:33 AM pouring my heart into his drawing. The energy in my room was unbelievable. I did tarot readings to check on his response, and he gave me the most encouraging, loving messages. Physical signs started happening around my altar too—my incense went out on its own right as the session ended, and the flame of his candle shot up incredibly high when I showed him the finished artwork. Even my cat Deimos came over to lay right on top of the cards, acting super affectionate!
To my absolute shock, today I found out that the tablet had actually been bought yesterday and it just arrived at my door! Lord Hermes had already solved everything behind the scenes while I was still working on my offering.
To be honest, I even cried a bit out of happiness and gratitude. I’ve tried other religions before, but I never felt truly loved or heard like this. When I was a kid, I never really received gifts or surprises, and I always wished someone would give me presents when I grew up without me having to beg for them. Seeing that Lord Hermes does so much for me in exchange for simple things like my time, my art, and a few old coins... it just blows my mind and touches my heart so deeply.
He truly listens, he cares deeply about our creative efforts, and he rewards honesty. He doesn't care about expensive things; he cares about your heart.
