Was Lala hired because she doesn’t care who hates her?
I might be starting to understand why Lala was hired for this show. She’s willing to open her mouth and will say it directly to your face and behind your back to others to stir things up.
She’s been doing this for a long time, only Kristen has more years on her. Britt comes next but we know that she’s not going to speak up. The rest of them are still relatively new at this and seem to care a lot about what their cast mates and viewers think of them. Janet tried to do things her way but the pressure from Kristen and backlash from viewers stopped her, I think she’s really trying to be more low-key this season, to not make waves.
So they bring Lala on, even though most of us didn’t want her there. I was like, but what will she bring? And now I get it, she brings her big mouth. She’s uniquely positioned to say what she wants, even to Kristen, and not fold when people get really mad at her.
This isn’t a fan post, I’m still mad she called us rabies bitches after her abysmal performance on VPR S11, but that actually supports my point. She’s been through the lows with the fandom and can handle it. She’s going to say what she wants to say and does not care about backlash.
