What would actually make you trust a valet with your car?

After reading through a bunch of comments on my last post, one thing really stood out.

It wasn't the wait times or the paper tickets.

It was trust.

A lot of people basically said, "I just don't trust someone else driving my car."

So now I'm wondering...

What would actually make you trust a valet service more?

  • Better-trained staff?
  • GPS tracking?
  • A photo/video when they pick up and return your car?
  • More transparency around insurance?
  • Live updates while your car's being retrieved?

Or do you think this is one of those things tech just can't fix?

Curious to hear what everyone thinks.

What's the most annoying thing about valet parking?

Miami, what's the most annoying thing about valet parking?

I'm working on a valet management platform with my team, and before we keep adding features, I wanted to hear from people who actually use valet services.

Miami probably has more valet parking than most cities, so I figured this was the right place to ask.

What actually annoys you?

Is it waiting too long for your car?

Paper tickets that are easy to lose?

Not knowing if your car has even been requested?

The payment process?

Or is there something else that drives you crazy?

If you've worked as a valet or managed a valet operation, I'd love to hear your side too. I imagine customers and operators deal with very different problems.

Not here to promote anything. Just trying to understand what's broken so we can build something that actually solves it.

I'd appreciate any honest feedback.
