Funny story, the last pair I found was also Detecting and those went to my gf. This is the newer gen of that pair and again, going to the gf haha

This was picked up off a battlefield during late ww2. Inscriptions on the handle point toward it being made very late in the war. The handle is a bit beat up. The blade does have rust marks but they are not deep at all. I was thinking about having it restored but wondering the value as is.
