Separate trackers vs separate input fields?
Sorry if this question has already been answered (I’m a newer user!), but I’m trying to understand the difference between Trackers and Tracker Input Fields from an actual data tracking standpoint.
Since it appears that individual Input Fields can have unique organizers, and Tracking Records (in the Timeline) only include the field(s) recorded at that instance (as opposed to every field on the Tracker every time), I would assume it’s technically possible to have a single Tracker that includes all “trackable” datapoints?
In other words, instead of having a Tracker for sleep data AND a Tracker for reading, there could theoretically be a single Tracker with Input Fields for sleep data (organized under a “Health” Area) and fields for reading data (organized under a “Fun” Area)…is that correct?
Ultimately, my REAL question is, regardless of the intended/ real-world use of trackers vs fields, what is the literal/ technical/ programmatic reason to use separate Trackers? (This isn’t a preference question; I’m asking about the mechanisms so I can decide for myself how to proceed). Thanks!
