This smells so good

This smells so good

I came across this in a shop in a tourist town, and I wish I knew perfume speak because I don't know how to describe it other than delicious. I'm so extremely picky about perfume. I probably have 20 different kinds in my home right now that I hate. I love this one every time. Unfortunately it doesn't last very long but I recently bought the perfume spray and I'm anxious to see that it smells the same and last longer. I hope so. Anyway, I can't recommend this one highly enough.

The best I can do as far as describing the scent would be to say I definitely smell citrus, in my mind the word would be dark citrus but I'm sure that doesn't mean anything but what I mean is something more like grapefruit as opposed to something high-pitched like lemon. Then there is something floral in there but it's very light. It's so beautiful. There's no powderiness in this at all, thank God. I'm so sick of powder smell in perfumes. There's nothing like food in here, I hate vanilla and I'm not smelling any vanilla. But is there a little tiny bit of sweetness like sugar maybe? I think so. Brown sugar maybe. Nothing spicy, or anything that I would describe as spicy. As you can see by my descriptive wording my idea of spicy is probably not correct. 😅

I don't know perfume words, I just know that this stuff is so good I can't get enough of it. As far as I know this is a small company that a woman started and she makes everything in small batches. So I hope that she never stops doing it or that she never gets overwhelmed and can't make it anymore or something. I really hope she doesn't sell out and somebody takes over and ruins it. If I thought it would last forever I'd just buy a hundred bottles right now so I never run out. I believe it is just essential oils in coconut oil? Anyway, I recommend it. I think I might start buying some of the other ones just to see what they smell like too but I'm pretty addicted to this one.

Questions about finishing my VCT floor

Hi, I just had this put in today and I actually hired someone separately to finish it for me, because I am getting a massive amount of conflicting information. However, I'm noticing these little gaps here and there, I would say about as wide as my thumbnail. Not everywhere, but a few spots. I was just wondering if there's a way to fill these so that they don't continue to look like a bad floor job. Maybe it's just me but I notice all of these things. If there's no way to feel it it's fine I just wondered. The second picture is I think meant to be part of the flecks in the tile, But it's really fat and dark and almost looks smudged on. Could it actually be that it was scuffed somehow? If it is actually in the tile, and I think it is, is there any way to lighten it before we seal it? It's the second tile walking in my kitchen and it's really jumping out at me. Thank you so much!

Please help, at my wit's end

TLDR: There isn't one. This is going to require all the information.

For years I have been having a problem that I have never had in any other home. I'm getting a smell coming out of my kitchen sink That literally smells like poop. We have:

  1. Snaked out the vent pipe from the roof all the way down to the plumbing in the basement, just in case it was blocked.

  2. Bought a new garbage disposal (This actually seemed to help temporarily)

  3. Consulted a plumber and repaired a break in our main drain.

  4. Made sure that the traps from the basement drain are full by pouring a ton of water down there consistently.

  5. Made sure that traps in little used sinks are kept full by running the water consistently at least once a week.

  6. Used any number of garbage disposal and drain cleaners and enzymes and scents.

After all of this, the smell keeps coming back.

Last Saturday my husband took everything apart, took the garbage disposal outside and scrubbed and hosed it out. He's now thinking that maybe it is build up in the piece of the disposal that would normally hook to a dishwasher, which we do not have. After putting everything back together, the smell is still there when I do the dishes. As soon as I start running water into the drain, the smell wafts up.

But here's what's even more strange. It stinks underneath the sink. Everything is sealed, it shouldn't stink underneath the sink. The sink was completely rebuilt last year and sealed and is spotless. I thought maybe he had let the stinky water spill down and didn't wipe it up when he took everything apart. So I cleaned it. But when I open it up it smells like someone pooped under there.

I'm going to include a picture of the way everything is put together in case he did something wrong.

But let me be clear on what I know it isn't:

It isn't rodent poop or urine, it isn't bugs, it isn't leaking, nothing is rotting.

It is 1,000% coming from this plumbing.

Let me reiterate that I have never had this problem in any other home I have ever had in my entire life and I'm in my 50s. Something is wrong here and he can't figure it out and neither can I. Please, please I cannot take the smell anymore. He installed everything under here. What is he doing wrong? Something is wrong. 😭

(Also, I know that plug looks like it isn't a GFCI or whatever they're called, but it's connected directly to one that is and somehow if this gets wet it trips.)

Thank you thank you thank you! Anybody who can help me thank you!
