Movies with themes of existential dread/hopelessness

Hey all! Probably won't be a super fun thread lol, but I recently watched Aniara (2018) and found it so fascinating. It's a movie that's really lingered in the back of my mind since then.

If anyone has any recommendations for movies that tackle similar themes surrounding people being faced with a hopeless end, I'd love to check them out. I'm a sucker for the "lost in space" conflict that Aniara uses, but any story with that similar sense of dread works too. Can be horror/disturbing.

Wanted to practice a bit with acrylic markers, I think I prefer acrylic paint itself but the markers are a fun exercise in limiting colors!

My First ACEO - Pounce!

Created this reddit account just to start posting my work, even if sharing my art has always been super scary for me haha.
