I have been on Evlanse for a couple months now, I am now on 60mg dosage and I am starting to feel like stimulant medication may not be the best idea for me as I have struggled with addictive tendencies in the past. I don't take more than my prescribed dose but I'd be lying if I said I didn't have the urge. (No judgement please, I knew what I was getting myself in for here and was discussed with my prescriber but unfortunately it likely won't work out).

My question is, how are non stimulant medications? How do they compare/are they useful?

Anyone else who has struggled with addictive tendencies - do these urges go away once you are fully used to the medication? I have only been on 60mg a couple of days so my body is still getting used to it.

Any advice or anecdotal experiences welcome. Thanks!

I have a friend who is obsessed with cycling and loves to watch the cyclists go by while sipping on a cold crisp pint 😄 all leads welcome.
