I'm asking here because I don't trust the main subreddit, but how exactly is it a cheaper model for the devs to maintain? I vaguely remember hearing about that, and I find that rather hard to believe. Is it how its very samey? Usually if I thought of a cheaper chat model I'd think of something that does the bare minimum (i.e. you put in a prompt and it really basically follows it, say you say a sentence and its like "oh hey how you doing"), not something that puts in like four paragaphs that sometimes have dialogue before the bot decides to kiss you. Does anyone wonder this too or do they know a concrete reason for it?
