Also not interested in visiting Barcelona.

14 days Madrid with Teen daughter

Hi everyone. I’m planning a summer dad and daughter trip. It’s her first time in Europe but I have traveled to Spain before. Being that it’s 14 days and knowing that the first 2 days are travel overnight and settle in and last day is travel back, I created the itinerary below. I do not want to be rushed and enjoy this trip with her. Any feedback on the itinerary is greatly appreciated. I know one uncertainty that I have is to leave El Escorial and Avila as all in one day or break apart? Also if any other day trip that I should add? Thank you

Any and all recommendations appreciated.

Day 3. Marbella

Day 4. Malaga

Day 5. Cordoba

Day 6. Malaga

Day 7. Ronda

Day 8. Granada overnight

Day 10. Almachar/Algarrobo/Nerja

Day 11. Caminito del rey

Day 12. 1. Benalmádena cable car + village 2. Mijas Pueblo

Day 13. Free Day

Day 14. Free Day

I have been planning a trip to Malaga Spain for this summer. With all the turmoil between US and Iran as well as issues with Spain’s PM, I keep reading recommendations about US citizens should reconsider visiting Spain. Has any US citizen recently visited and what was your experience? If anyone reading this that lives in Spain, are US citizens welcomed? Thank you in advance.
