I once asked if doing general surgery out of the USA and then doing transplant or critical care fellowship is possible and got a lot of positive responses thanks to you all….
But my question is how much doable is to stay as an academic staff if I was in a h1b not a j1 visa

Germany vs Spain for surgical training quality and learning opportunities, I know that in Germany most places won’t let you perform a lot of surgeries as a trainee, but what about Spain?
And how hard it is to get vascular or cardiac surgery in Spain ??
Hearing that students with 70s nbmes are failing is Enough to give me a panic attack, I don’t understand how many people with this high chance of passing are failing .

It’s very very good for me , it literally review many easy forgettable points effectively and effortlessly, the thing is my fear of artificially inflating my nbmes scores because I still didn’t do any nbme not even 1 …….
So should I continue with them or not

I finished first aid and 90% of uworld (70%) correct ,
now am doing mehlman PDFs and I can see the PDFs are 70-80 % of the first aid
So why it’s not recommended to do only mehlman and uworld for step1 ??? I feel bad I didn’t notice it sooner ….

For example :
If nbmes didn’t test you on X topic ( prostate cancer for instance-I know it’s very high yield just an example -)
So it is very rare to show up on the real deal
And if nbmes have questions about it so you should go and study every thing about prostate cancer in first aid and uworld notes if there is time
For students who took the exam: is this true
