Hey everyone,

I just got a brand new Legion 5 (15IRX10, i7-13650HX, RTX 5060) and I’m running into serious stability issues.

Setup:

Main monitor: Dell 27” QHD 144Hz via HDMI

Secondary monitor: Lenovo 27” QHD 75Hz via USB-C

USB devices: all connected to a powered TP-Link USB hub (keyboard, mouse, Stream Deck, microphone, USB DAC, webcam)

Issues:

Random audio crackling/popping (especially during video playback – e.g. Emby)

Short freezes (system stalls for a moment)

Sometimes it looses all the USB devices even the laptops keyboard, but the touchpad still stays active.

Keyboard input sometimes repeats (like a key gets stuck)

Mouse/input lag for a split second

Occasionally the system shows a busy cursor at the same time

What I tried so far:

Clean Windows install /with stock MS one and Lenovo recovery as well)

Latest drivers via Lenovo Vantage

NVIDIA drivers (latest + older attempts)

Hybrid mode and dGPU mode

Different USB setups (with/without hub, without USB-C monitor)

Power settings tweaks (Balanced, Performance, CPU limits)

LatencyMon shows high DPC latency (nvlddmkm.sys + dxgkrnl.sys, sometimes network-related)

Important:

The issue happens even when USB devices are simplified, and even with official Lenovo drivers.

At this point I’m not sure if this is:

a driver issue (NVIDIA / network)

a platform issue (Legion / BIOS / power management)

or a defective unit

Has anyone seen something similar on Legion laptops?

Any ideas before I return it?

TBH this is my second Lenovo in 2 weeks, and I’m not sure if I want to try it third time. I chose the brand because my company laptop T14 Gen3 runs for years 10-12 hours a day without any issues. But this is dancing on my nerves…

Thanks
