For me I sometimes blindly trust bookers or just listen to a quick snippet. When friends invite me I also almost always say yes because I liked to be surprised haha
But wonder how others approach this 😊
Here in Amsterdam two of the more popular venues (Paradiso & Melkweg) have memberships that you need to enter the venue (most of the time)
There’s also a subscription which lets you visit a lot of concerts of lesser known artists for a single price.
I grew up with this being very normal but I was wondering if this is unique to Amsterdam and how do we feel about it?
I don’t mind it as it keeps tickets prices lower and you support venues directly
Even with technical difficulties he did an incredible live performance. That felt real and honest. Also had the crowd selecting what songs to play 1/3 of the show which was nice 😊
He arrived 40 before the show started because of cancelled flights so he had very little preparation
