Iphone 14 display just revived itself

For context, the back panel of the phone is completely broken, along with the camera module. I dropped it in water a few days ago, and the display died the next day. I figured, fixing it wasn't worth it and I thought I'd save some money and buy a new phone. I had an old android that Im using currently. But today which is 3 days after the incident, the display has seemingly revived itself and is working perfectly fine. It's been working fine for about an hour now. My question is, should I trust that it will be fine and switch to that phone, or whether the display damage is a long term issue that needs fixing regardless? Thank you for your responses.

Got my credentials stolen (I think)

For context, I downloaded a game off the internet without verifying the source. The setup was taking too long so I canceled it and went to sleep. Next morning, I find my EA Account has been logged in elsewhere, and I received the verification code before the mails were moved to spam. The primary mail ID for that was changed. Soon after that, same thing happened to my Steam account. At this point, I was sure it probably had something to do with the game that I had downloaded, so I went home and reset my laptop.

Few days ago, I found myself being logged out of my X (formerly twitter) account, and my Reddit account was locked. I changed the password on both. I then took the time to change the creds on all the sites that I have registered to.

Today, I find that I was logged out from my work email. I am growing increasingly frustrated from this. The hack happened on 4th May, and I still am being bothered by it.

I need someone who can tell me what kind of attack this is, how severe it is, and what are the steps I can take to protect myself?
