I know Lucian Primal Ward can be a pain in the ass, but honestly, I find it way more bearable than Elaman cards and all the weird rules those stages have.

Yeah, it sucks that you need Lucian units for most of the stages, and some of our stronger units end up doing almost no damage. But at least I can still understand what I’m supposed to do.

With Elaman, I swear I spent more time trying to understand the stage rules than actually playing the stages. Every stage has some restriction like “don’t do this, don’t heal, only attack under this condition, you can only hit the enemy from behind at exactly 00:00 on Sunday, otherwise you get penalized” and it just gets annoying after a while.

I did 14 stages of the new Lucian content using only Anna. I could technically use all my characters in Elaman, but what’s the point when every stage comes with another rule telling you how you’re supposed to play?

Honestly, I’d take Lucian restrictions over Elaman’s stage rules any day.

I really doubt someone can make it without using Lucia units.

I was playing the 11 Guardian Trial, I think, and I’m currently using Heshan to apply Healing Reversal so that damn Yak won’t heal. But when I check the debuffs, every single one is being applied except Healing Reversal. WHY?!

I’ve read through every damn skill these monsters have, and there’s no Healing Reversal counter, no debuff removal, nothing that should prevent it from being applied. So why the hell isn’t it working?

Since most of the enemies in the new event hit really hard and have a ton of defense, it's been pretty difficult to find units that can survive the first few hits or even deal decent damage.

But man, the synergy between Anna and Lufti's Invisible debuff is amazing. I've loved using Lufti ever since he came out, but with so many powerful units released afterward, it never really felt like he had a place on my team because I could usually just brute-force everything with raw damage.

Now, with these new chapters and enemies taking extra damage from Lucian units, pairing Lufti's debuffs with Anna as the main damage dealer makes most fights a breeze. Add Taair keeping everyone's NRG topped up, and the whole team just feels incredible.

I’ve been playing Sword since the global launch, and honestly I’ve been insanely lucky. I managed to pull almost every unit I wanted, probably around 99% of them. Even when I lost a 50/50, I usually ended up getting another unit I liked but hadn’t planned to pull for, so I never really felt bad about it.
But ever since Ela’s banner, my luck has completely turned around. I’ve had to go all the way to 180 pulls twice, and now I’ve lost the 50/50 twice on Shanaz’s banner too. I’m pretty close to pity again, but since I really want Anna, I’m just going to save the guarantee for her.
Man… it really sucks. I know that’s just how gacha games work, but it still feels awful when it happens.
So I’m curious, especially for those of you who play multiple gachas: how do you deal with not getting the unit you really wanted? How do you cope with that feeling?

I completely forgot to mention the most important part.
Besides having Anna guaranteed, I’m completely drained on pulls. So I’m basically trying to accept the fact that I’ll probably end up skipping 95% of the Lucia arc, and that honestly feels pretty bad. I know that’s just how it goes sometimes, but it still sucks.

I was wondering if it's just me, but if I remember correctly, every Friday the game used to release at least a small event. There was always a major event running, but they also made sure there was some extra activity where you could earn at least a few Luxites.

Lately, though, it feels like the big event is all we get. Is that because they're saving content and rewards for Lucia's release, or are the devs starting to slow down support for the game?

I'm finding it really hard to earn Luxites now. With only one event available, it feels like we're getting just 10–20 pulls at most, whereas before there were usually several ways to grind a bit more.

I know there have been a lot of posts about this already, but I'm still struggling with the decision.

I've been extremely lucky in this game so far. I have SP Samantha at 5 stars with Astral Imprint 5 and Blood Amulet 5. I also have Credenza at 5 stars with Astral Imprint 3. i have been very lucky in this game, so my account already has most of the Tier 0 units, and they hit incredibly hard.

That said, Shanaz looks really cool. I love her teleport mechanics and her overall playstyle seems very fun. On the other hand, the Lucian Arc is right around the corner, and I absolutely love bow characters. Anna, the first Lucian unit, uses a bow, which makes her especially tempting.

I've also heard a lot of people say that the Lucian Arc really benefits from having Lucian units, so I'm wondering if it would be smarter to skip Shanaz and save for Anna instead.

I know there are no true "must-pull" units in this game, but since I'm running low on pulls, I'd appreciate some advice. Is Shanaz so strong or unique that I'll regret skipping her, or would it be better to save for Anna and the upcoming Lucian content?

Para todos aqueles que jogam em portátil, estou em dúvida entre um Switch OLED desbloqueado, um portátil tipo Steam Deck/ROG Ally, ou um Switch 2.
Eu já tive um Switch desbloqueado e curtia muito, jogava bastante, e uma parte importante para mim é jogar com a minha mulher.
Switch OLED desbloqueado
No Switch a gente jogava junto e isso era muito legal, principalmente pela praticidade e pelos jogos com controle de movimento, que eu gosto bastante.
O problema é que o catálogo multiplayer local, pelo menos para o nosso gosto, acaba sendo um pouco limitado depois de um tempo.
Além disso, uma coisa que me incomoda no Switch 1 é a qualidade gráfica e desempenho em alguns jogos.
Ainda assim, gosto muito da experiência portátil da Nintendo e do fator “sentar e jogar”.
Portátil tipo Steam Deck / ROG Ally / Asus
Por outro lado, um portátil tipo Steam Deck ou Asus resolveria uma situação muito importante da minha rotina.
Eu preciso passar 2 ou 3 dias da semana na casa da minha mãe, porque ela tem depressão e não pode ficar tanto tempo sozinha.
Quando isso acontece, mesmo eu e minha esposa tendo PCs gamers, acaba que perdemos a possibilidade de jogar juntos, porque um PC fica no apartamento e o outro na casa da minha mãe.
Nós dois já temos uma biblioteca enorme na Steam e jogamos vários jogos juntos no PC, então um portátil desses me permitiria continuar jogando com ela normalmente mesmo estando fora de casa.
Além disso, teria acesso a muito mais jogos multiplayer/co-op do que no Switch, e vi que até Valorant funciona nesses portáteis, o que achei muito legal também.
O problema é o preço.
Sou casado, tenho casa, moto, carro… tudo isso tem manutenção e gasto. Mesmo nós dois trabalhando, ainda é um investimento pesado, coisa de 5 mil reais ou mais, e isso me deixa bastante com o pé atrás.
Switch 2
O Switch 2 parece um meio-termo interessante.
Ele aparenta ter um desempenho melhor, o que resolveria parte da minha reclamação com o Switch 1, e aqui em SP estou achando por volta de 3 mil reais, bem menos que um Asus portátil.
Os jogos são caros, mas eu sou um cara muito desapegado: normalmente termino um jogo e vendo depois, então não fico gastando 400 reais toda hora.
E sinceramente, os jogos da Nintendo, multiplayer local e os controles de movimento ainda têm um charme muito forte para mim.
Se vocês estivessem no meu lugar, o que fariam?
