New To Hardstyle
Hi all! I just got back from EDC Las Vegas. I wandered into the Wasteland stage and basically stayed there the whole weekend and ignored some of my other must-see DJs in order to enjoy more hardstyle music.
I quite enjoyed The Saints and Yosuf. Any recommendations for other artists or particular live sets on YouTube?
I really want to experience a dedicated hardstyle festival now, but it sounds like there aren't many such events in America. I realize Defqon appears to be the holy grail of hardstyle but the logistics of camping in another country sound too intimidating for me right now (I am an over packer and drove like half my belongings to Electric Forest and Infrasound).
Any recommendations on how to enjoy more hardstyle in the EU without a full camping adventure? I am looking at Rebirth festival and there seem to be hotel options within transportation distance from the festival grounds.
Would this event still be too much for a newbie? How about a more traditional club/concert environment in Amsterdam? I really have no idea how to start planning such an adventure so any tips or insight would be appreciated!
