Airsoft Bachelor Party: terrible idea?

I'm organising a 16-person day of activities for my brother. Most of us are in our late 30s and have no experience with airsoft. Some have played paintball a few times years ago.

I don't expect I'll get as honest an answer from the venues as I would from this community, so I'm posing the question to you: am I setting us up for a bad time, or is this the kind of thing where you could just drop in as a newbie, fire off some rounds, and leave with a couple bruises and some fun stories?

$Free board game night, all year long!

TL;DR

Board games, snacks, totally $free$.

Waterdown Board Gamers on Facebook.

Millgrove Community Centre every other Monday.

More Info

We're still at it (and growing). I posted this a few months ago and thought it was about time to get the word out again.

There was a question about "third spaces" on the Waterdown subreddit a while ago - places to hang out and meet people without breaking the bank. I had the same question after we moved, and it eventually lead to my wife starting a board game group at the library. We've since moved locations to the Millgrove Community Centre nearby. We play a mix of light and dense games and have between 10 and 15 attendees on average.

Find us on Facebook to see pics from previous events, past games, or just to drop in and say hi. Just search Waterdown Board Gamers.
