Handling resentment like a boss

I reposted my friends show on instagram. What absolutely bothers me is that when I repost HIS thing, some of our mutual followers like and share too. But when I post something IM doing, I get no engagement from those mother fuckers. Makes me wonder, why bother. Clout chasing ass people don’t care about me, never have, never will. End of story? Nope, I just remain bitter and ruminate on it.

I am legitimately depressed that the shows over.

Don’t take this as a “Zach and Micheal suck balls” sort of post. I can 100% emphasize with the burnout they said they got making the show. I can’t imagine finishing a new season, then the network announcing 4 and 5 coming soon too. It seemed like a lot at one time, and I don’t even work on the show. That being said, Smiling friends has been such a consistent part of my 20s. I have not been this in love with a show since the Eric Andre show Or Chainsaw Man. It might seem selfish, but I’m holding out hope they could come back periodically and do specials. Another season is unrealistic and I don’t think either of them would want to do that. With that being said, I’m looking forward to whatever else these two do in the future.

Let’s talk about jobs for 2 seconds (or maybe more)

So I decided the best thing for me to do is to get into the trades, specifically electrician because it’s the closest to my interests. Sounds great? Here’s the problem: I have absolutely no interest in doing that. What I want to do is make music and do creative things, but I am not naive enough to believe that that is actually going to pan out. I have a decent buzz in my city, but it’s a small scene already so it’s not hard to do admittedly. The trades seem safe and dependable, but I have no motivation to do it. I’m 25 and I need to decide sooner rather than later what I’m going to do with my life. I can’t keep aimlessly fucking around. Any advice?
