I want some really good adult romances that have some drama or emotional moments to keep it interesting but have a happy/good end. It doesn’t necessarily have to have a lot of drama or angst but I’d like there to be at least some to keep it interesting and they must stay together and be happy in the end!!

I want something finished, preferably something with a good story but I don’t want anything fantasy or historical. I’d also prefer some physical affection like multiple kisses and maybe sex eventually, not just one kiss at the very end or something, if possible but not necessary.

I want a romance with a very string relationship build up, not one where they get together immediately or within a few chapters and after they get together I want to see their relationship progress instead of the series ending shortly after. I prefer adult characters but highschool characters are fine too. I’d like to see them both be pretty shy and awkward at times if possible but not necessarily.

I want to see their relationship progress and every step of it. Their first handholding, their first kiss and I’d prefer it to keep progressing and I’d love if they went all the way eventually too but if not that’s ok. I prefer a bit of drama to keep things interesting if possible and I don’t really like historical or fantasy stuff too much (unless the fantasy element is very minimal).

Please recommend me something good!!

So I’ve been reading a ton of Yuri recently and most of the time, even if the rest of the series is incredible, the endings always feel somewhat unsatisfying. I’d say about 80% of the time they feel extremly rushed, like they wrapped up everything in a single chapter and didn’t have enough time for anything else and leech some things unfinished, etc.

The rest of the time, the series’s seems to just do a 180 right at the end and end terribly or end with something like the characters broken up or something. I’m almost always left at least a little unsatisfied so I’m wondering which Yuri had the perfect endings ? I count bonus chapters if they’re cannon and epilogues too.

To me, I can think of a few: Ring my Bell, Cherrful amnesia, how do we relationship, kill me now citrus, the summer you were there.

And I think that’s it out of the like 50 I’ve read. Can you guys recommend me some with extremly satisfying conclusions. Preferably something not super short but it’s ok.

Preferably something with adult characters and physical affection, maybe some NSFW scenes eventually too but not necessary. And something that’s interesting.

I’m a lesbian so I usually read yuri but I feel like I’ve read most of the finished ones already and I’ve been thirsty for more romance. I tried looking into recommendations but most of the ones I was recommended have super dominant/confident Male leads and more submissive female leads. It’s usually the male being the one to initiate anything and the Woman being shy and flustered while the man is super confident.

I have androphobia and despite it being fiction, I don’t like to see muscular or super confident and seductive men. I’d rather the men have a normal looking body and being shy/reserved about stuff. I don’t absolutely need a more dominant female lead if they’re both on the same level but I don’t want the male being the one who’s super confident and initiates everything while the FL blushes at everything he does, it’s fine if they’re both shy and blushing as long as they’re on the same level I guess.

The male MC doesn’t have to be shy necessarily but I don’t want to feel like I’m reading a smut made for straight women who like dominant men (if the makes any sense). I also prefer more female characters than male characters if possible but not necessary. Also, please no muscular men, I want men with realistic bodies, small abs or muscles are ok but I prefer skinny with no muscles at all. Sorry for being so specific and picky. I’ve just put off reading straight stuff for a long time because of how a lot of them portray the men.

I don’t want a series that is super heavily dramatic or one that has constant drama but I want one that has SOME drama and isn’t 100% wholesome/fluffy the entire time because I get kinda bored of those. Good examples I’ve read of this would be Ring my bell, After the curtain call, Girlfriends, my dearest nemesis, and Still Sick (perfect example of what I’m looking for).

I don’t care if it’s mostly wholesome but I want some interesting drama or conflict or character struggles, or emotional struggled to keep it interesting. I get really bored if it’s straight fluff 100% of the time, but It also gets tiring if there’s constant drama. I also only want Recs that are finished or very close to being finished, and absolutely no bait or open endings please.

Preferably something that’s not super short but short recs are welcome, I also prefer adult characters but ones with minors are welcome too if you think they’re a good fit for what I’m looking for.

So I know there’s no official translation and It took me forever to find any translation at all, I’ve only been able to find it on manga buddy but that translation is very bad. The grammar is awful, there’s so many misspelled words and words out of place, it keeps taking me out of the immersion. I found the Spanish version on manga dex but they don’t have the English version.

Also, there’s an extra chapter on manga dex that the one on manga buddy doesn’t have which I’m assuming is the epilogue?? I really am interested in the story so far, I’m on chapter 18 but I keep getting taken out of the immersion by the awful translation, misspelled and misplaced words where some sentences don’t make any sense. Does anyone know where I can find a good English translation of it or at least a better one than manga buddy ? And one that has the extra chapter would be nice too. Thank you

These 2 are by far my 2 favorite yuri series. I love them so much!! My favorite thing about them is probably the crime and intense moments. I love being on the edge of my seat when characters are in danger and the consoling from the love interest afterwards but I also love the toxic relationships in both of these where I’m rooting for the relationship but at the same time feeling slightly wrong about it and bad for the characters and I also love how the characters act insane sometimes and get crazy eyes.

I love the smut as well. I love that there’s smut but also a really good story to go with it and not just smut with a trash or mid story like bad thinking diary (in my personal opinion). I don’t need a series with all of those things but a similar series would be really like. Like, I don’t need one with a lot of smut if it has an intense plot with characters actually out in danger or something or I don’t need an intense plot if it has a good story and toxic/crazy characters similar to the 2 in the title.

I just really love these 2 and I’m really looking for anything similar please. It doesn’t need to be super similar but I’d love something close at least. My main favorite thing is the intense plot and the characters actually facing danger and getting hurt but it doesn’t necessarily need to include that. Preferably something completed please or something that’s close to being finished. Please don’t recommend anything that’s canceled or hasn’t updated in years.
