My professor this that I understand 600 year old diplomatic italian because I have B1...he's wrong :(
Hello everyone! I have a problem: I game a lot and so far my laptop of about 5 years (details below) has been performing rather well with most of the games I like to play regularly. However, since yesterday evening (everything was fine until noon at the very least), no game over a certain threshold of system requirements that used to run at a constant 60+ FPS performs with more than 20 FPS anymore (list of games I've tested so far below).
I use a Dell G15 5515 Ryzen Edition gaming laptop with the following specs:
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 5600H with Radeon Graphics (3.30 GHz)
Installed RAM: 16,0 GB (15,4 GB available)
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU (4 GB), AMD Radeon(TM) Graphics (496 MB)
Storage: 401 GB of 477 GB used
System Type: 64-Bit-Operating System, x64-based Processor
What I can tell so far from a few tests is that the problem is not a lack of storage space. The graphics card should be fine too though I am not sure of it. In any case decreasing graphics quality barely helped the issue. It might also be an issue with Steam of some sort. I also restart my laptop regularly.
So far, I can tell that the following games don't run well anymore:
For the King 2
Vermintide 2
Star Wars: The Old Republic
I have also noticed a slight performance drop in Stellaris.
Games like Wizard of Legend or League of Legends run with no problems. I have not (yet) encountered issues with any other kind of software such as Discord.
Thank you in advance if you have any clue what might be causing this!
