New gateron silent switch

New gateron silent switch

Anyone buying and would be kind enough to do sound test comparison?
The price is a bit steep for me to buy and try out.

Have tried the following so far and found the Outemu Peach Silent to be the quietest

  1. Off Studio X TNT Six Realms Silent
  2. Outemu Peach Silent
  3. XVX Whisper HE/EC
  4. Haimu Silent HE
  5. Gamakay Phoenix V3 Magnetic Silent

Air cooling 9800X3D in Ncase S5M

Want to get inputs on which option is better to cool a 9800X3D in S5M. S5M supports up to 66mm tall CPU cooler so the below makes them very close to the side mesh panel. Want to know from noise level due to potential turbulence and also ability to adequately cool the cpu in ambient room temperature 27C-30C (living in hot and humid SG)

first 2 options are to make a fan swap to Noctua NF-AF12X25 G2 PWM Chromax black for the 2 coolers:

  1. Thermalright AXP90-X53 full copper with 120mm fan adapter - total height 63mm

  2. ID Cooling IS-55 - total height 65mm

third option would be NH-L12 Ghost S1 Edition that is exactly 66mm.

For info, i've tried cooling the 9800X3D in my current 7L rig using AXP90-X47 full copper with Noctua NF-AF9x14 HS-PWM chromax (up to 2500rpm) as well as NF-AF12x15 PWM chromax with 120mm fan adapter but it's not stable no matter the tweaks i tried (e.g. setting PPT, EDC, TDC, Eco Mode, PBO CO- etc..) and I had to revert back to my 7800X3D. It was only stable when I have my airconditioning set to 23C but realistically I dont want to have to switch on my AC everytime i use my PC.

I really want to use the 9800X3D and I think I've a better shot at it now with the taller cpu cooler config in the S5M. Advices much appreciated. TIA
