Navigating clothing while losing weight

I’m excited to eventually revamp my wardrobe when I’m closer to my goal weight, but how do you navigate the change in sizes as you’re losing weight without replacing your wardrobe multiple times?

Edited to add: I only have about 40lbs to lose so I’m guessing I’ll lose 2-3 sizes or so. Not as drastic as losing a high amount of weight.

Preferred time of day for injection?

I take my first shot on Friday, which is a work from home day for me so it should be chill. I’m curious to know if anyone has a preferred time of day and why for their injection? I was planning to do it in the morning since that’s when I usually take supplements and I’ll remember. Wondering if I take it before or after eating breakfast? Does it matter?

Starting with Fifty 410

Just paid for my first order of .25 semaglutide. Any tips for beginners?

Edited to add: does anyone know how long it usually takes to arrive?

Update: talked to doc about GLP1

I did a bunch of labs and officially have a PCOS diagnosis based on irregular periods, hirsutism, and elevated testosterone. She also ordered a pelvic ultrasound. My blood sugar is fine but my doc said that if I’m really concerned about my metabolic health, she’ll consider putting me on metformin. She doesn’t want to give me a GLP1 because she said that’s “life long medication” and I should “keep trying to lose weight naturally” before considering that even though I’ve been plateaued for a long time. I think because I’m not morbidly obese (173 lbs at 5’3”), she doesn’t seem too concerned about my weight.

I’m disappointed and wishing I could try a GLP1 since I’ve tried to lose weight naturally for so long. I worked so hard to lose 20 lbs but can’t break my 173 plateau. Any words of advice or encouragement? Would you seek a GLP1 from a different source at this point?

Asking doc about GLP1

I’m 5’2” and 172lbs, down 20lbs since going off of an SSRI but have plateaued for the past 1.5 years even after working with a dietitian doing a calorie deficit. My dietitian thinks I’m likely insulin resistant. I always freeze up at the doctor and don’t know what to say because I’m used to being dismissed, so I’m trying to figure out how to ask for a GLP-1 for weight loss and further PCOS testing (I’m self diagnosed at this point but have all the symptoms, including pretty bad hirsutism). Can I get some help/support on what to say to the doctor in order to get the support I need? It’s just an annual with a GP.

Edited to add: I want to have a baby in the next few years so not sure if that helps.

Birth control helping weight loss?

In a world that’s so scared of BC right now, has anyone had success losing weight while on yaz? I haven’t been on BC in years but doc and psychiatrist is recommending to aid my PMDD. Weight loss is a big goal of mine though. Would love to hear some success stories if they’re out there!

At home program recs?

Any cheap or free at home workout program recs? I need some structure but money is tight atm. I’m a former competitive power lifter that has lots of experience in the gym, but going so heavy for so long left me with chronic pain. Looking to lock back in and lose weight (171 at 5’3” w/goal weight of 145). In a cal deficit and just want some structure with my workout program again.
