The mad cow disease was caused by feeding cows, meat and bone of other animals (cows and sheep) that were infected. The origin of the infection was most likely scrapie (mad cow disease but in sheep form) which was probably caused by feeding sheep a sick sheep with misfolded prions) Which basically is about cannibalism, and if we know anything about yellowjackets cannibalism. less
