Yearly trip to the Marshfield Hills General store, owned by Steve Carell.

Hi all!

I believe a few years ago I posted but my boyfriend and I go up to the store once a year just because I love Steve and the office and the area is beautiful.

Steve bought this little store if I remember correctly to save it from closing. His sister in law is the manager and handles most of the day to day, but every time I go I ask the workers if they have seen him or met him and they all have.

Everytime they say he is quiet humble friendly and laid back. Not surprised. I love hearing nice things about Steve.

The store is cute. Small area for food and a candy area, a lot of little jewelry and home goods. Cards, gimmicky little toys ect.

There used to be a quite larger office area in the store but it seems they’ve really scaled that back.

Marshfield is beautiful, I love this little store. They also have an ice cream shop next door. I was told Steve used to go to a friendlys in the area often, but it closed. He wanted access to ice cream so, he built his own shop. Hahah

Enjoy the pics! I love being able to visit these special office related places and share with others who can’t. (Look back in my posts I was just in Scranton about a month ago and went to coopers and got some great pictures)

Stopped by Coopers today!

We are on our way to nascar and I made my boyfriend stop in Scranton since we were so close by.

Not only is this place decked out in cool office decor and signs but the restaurant itself it’s a massive dedication to the history of the Scranton area.

Also tons of collectible toys , old board games , old video games. The women’s bathroom is dedicated to Elvis and the men’s room dedicated to the Beatles.

I could have taken 5000 pictures but, enjoy the few I have.

Also of course, good food!

What is that noise??? Warwick

I hate being that person lol I am over in Apponaug area of Warwick and I am hearing what sounds like a constant rumble of thunder for the past 15 minutes

It’s like loud consistent booms??? It’s raining could it be fireworks?

I was standing outside and I couldn’t pinpoint it but it’s loud enough I can hear also in the house.

Edit; it seems to have stopped so I’m guessing it was fireworks in the surrounding areas. Maybe the weather/rain was carrying the sound weird. It Just didn’t sound right 😂 glad I wasn’t alone in this
