How bad is it to miss 2 summer classes?

Hi all, I'm taking Chem 2 Lab over the summer and anticipate needing to miss a week of class because of an orientation for work. I'm premed and need an orientation week in order to start my clinical job, which I need to pay bills :') I would at least be able to make it to the first lab, but I'd miss 2 labs in July because of that orientation week. Will this completely screw me over? I took AP Chem so I have a very solid foundation in chem if that matters. Thanks yall!!

UPDATE he’s letting me make up the labs🙏

Hi yall, I am currently a student at GSU Perimeter College and am enrolled in the Summer Bridge research program through CORE. To be completely honest I was kind of referred into this opportunity by a professor and then accepted, but don't quite understand what the opportunity is supposed to entail. My end goal is to gain STEM research experience to strengthen my future application to med school. I haven't received any info from the program about what this 3-week program is supposed to entail, and if there will be any opportunity for me to gain relevant skills for STEM focused research, but also I don't want to seem uninformed by asking😅 Does anyone have past experience with this program who can tell me about what I can expect?

Tbh if it's not super relevant to my overall goals, I would rather drop it so that I can take a 3 week break before my summer semester courses. Thanks yall!
