My god this game is hard, and im not even talking about the battle yet. So my 1st party of brute and scoundrel is running quite good, even add tinkerer that goes nicely. But after retiring all 3 and starting fresh party i feel damn stuck. All old item has to be re buy. And boy are they expensive. And boy collecting money without scoundrel and dealing with trap without curious gear is effin hard. Not to mention to get good exp and gold you got to actually finish a new scenario, since replaying old one is only useful for the perks and loot (and boy these new character none of them have loot lol

so, as the title, what if we yan succeed in killing yang yi and goes back to Hanzhong/ Cheng du 1st?

Will it caused a big civil war inside shu? will liu shan support him, or the other way around? and after that , whats the effect on shu policy? is it going to be different militarily than jiang wei led army policy?

As usual, this is a what if, so no hard feeling on any opinion guys.

Yes yes i know i would probably got wall of text reply on how retaking Jing would turn Wu fully hostile, but still; its a bit strange for me, because Shu has the cassus belli of avenging Liu bei, Guan yu, and Zhang fei. and it also make more sense for me to retake Jing, since its much easier to launch north campaign through Jingzhou rather than repeated north campaign through hellish mountain path.

On the other hand, its also kinda strange that Wu never continue pass Yi ling, since attacking Yi province / cheng du from east supposed to be much easier than from the north?

again, this is a what if discussion, i know there are peace and ally agreement after yi ling and both sides kinda keep it to prevent Wei attacking when theyre warring each other
